About
I’m Minou Lejeune, a jewellery designer, silver- and goldsmith with a passion for craftsmanship. I graduated from the Art Academy in Maastricht, where I developed a strong visual language rooted in classical forms — but always reimagined in a contemporary way. My practice balances technical skill with an intuitive, creative drive. Creating allows me to focus and to connect. At the heart of everything I make is attention, and nothing leaves my hands until it feels truly finished.
I work slowly, by hand, piece by piece. Guided by instinct, precision, and a deep need to make. Making jewellery calms me, centres me, and lets my imagination take shape.
I choose to work with silver and gold not just for their beauty, but because they endure. They’re made to last a lifetime — or longer. I believe in jewellery that can be passed on, that becomes part of a story. A good piece of jewellery should feel like part of you — something you return to every day, often without even realising it. Something that gathers meaning over time.
My designs walk the line between past and present. I rework traditional shapes by dissecting and reconstructing them — a nod to the past, with a playful and unexpected twist. Sculptural yet wearable. Recognisable, but never obvious. Above all, my pieces are made to be worn and lived with, for years to come.
