With a creative, technically minded family and a goldsmith as a mother working with metals was no stranger to her. She graduated from Art Academy in Maastricht where she finetuned her creative vision. Recently, to improve her technical skills, she studied stonesetting and engraving in no place better than Antwerp, the diamond city.

Minou's jewels are characterized by playful and minimalistic aesthetics. Drawing inspiration from classical shapes, yet it is reimagined with a modern twist. She likes to dissect, reconstruct and taking traditional jewellery out of its context.

The interaction between wearable objects and the human body plays a key role in her designs, creating pieces that feel both sculptural and wearable.
